Our founder:
Han-Gill Park was introduced to the world of network marketing in his thirties during a business trip to Australia. He discovered a system that encourages people to share products they use and recommend with friends and family — and be rewarded for doing so.
This business model fascinated Mr. Park because it helps establish a strong consumer base while ensuring that profits are distributed fairly and meritocratically among all members.
After returning to South Korea, he joined a network marketing company as a distributor. He quickly rose to the highest rank within that company but realized that its products lacked true quality and affordability.
Driven by the search for a company that could combine high-quality products with accessible prices, and finding none, he decided to create one himself. That vision became Atomy.
The Beginning of Atomy
It all started in a rundown roast-duck restaurant in the city of Iksan, located in South Jeolla Province. At that time, Mr. Park owned an old used car that could break down at any moment. With that car, he drove to the restaurant to share his vision with 17 or 18 people who were going through very difficult times.
Looking back, the situation might seem unusual, but that was the reality of the company’s early days.
No one wanted to invest in a newly created network marketing company, and recruiting distributors was extremely difficult. In that ruined restaurant, Mr. Park told those present that one day they could live in the best houses in Iksan. He also promised that if they ever reached the rank of Imperial Master, he would reward them with one billion Korean won in cash.
Most people probably thought he was just a dreamer. Yet the early members held on to his words with hope. Today, some of them have indeed achieved the rank of Imperial Master — and, as promised, received one billion won.
